Daniel Portel

ExoCad Certified Trainer

Daniel Portal is founder and director of Portal Digital Dentistry a company that has trained hundreds of dental professionals around the world. As former Senior Trainer for ExoCad North America, he was responsible for educating ExoCad resellers, labs, and dentists in the western hemisphere. In this role, he traveled extensively to teach lectures and demonstrations at trade shows in Germany, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Spain, Mexico and many other countries.

Daniel has 12 years of experience using most CAD/CAM systems. He gained this experience from working in different labs around the country, including: Arrowhead in Utah, Zahn Technique in Florida, Irwin Dental in Louisiana among others.

Now, as the first ExoCad certified trainer in the Americas, Daniel continues to train doctors and technicians on how to implement the ExoCad software into their digital workflows

Ilya Benjamin, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Ilya Benjamin graduated from U/F College of Dentistry in 1999 and completed his GPR at Mount Sinai. He has practiced over 22 years in Las Vegas with focus on IV sedation and implant dentistry. He operates a cad/cam lab including local mobile CT service and a marketing agency, NoMo Dentures.

Before learning ExoCad, Dr. Benjamin was using 3Shape. It is his opinion that ExoCad allows more workflow flexibility. He pivots on the use of stereophotogrammatry (like the PIC Camera) to fabricate passive fitting arches in zirconia

Dr. Benjamin enjoys teaching both surgical and restorative attributes to immediate load in dentistry. He believes in laws of abundance and enjoys empowering general dentist to achieve more from life.

FAQ

Where is the Venue?

Located at the Hyper Arena inside Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. We will meet everyone at 8 am by the entrance to the Hyper Arena.

Where Should I Stay?

We recommend that you stay near the Luxor Hotel & Casino. The nearest quality hotels are Mandalay Bay or The Hotel. We like them because they are a walking distance, approximately 15 minutes. Otherwise, if you don't to walk, just stay at the Luxor.

Can I just take 1 Day of Training

Yes, you don't need to take full course. We know its a lot of information, so don't think that you need to take the second day. However, it is helpful to learn the depths of ExoCad to plan your future educational trajectory. If you take 1 day, then you will receive 8 hrs of CE

Do I need to bring my laptop?

Absolutely not! We got you covered. Everything will be provided at the course.

How much hands on will I get?

There will be plenty of time for you to test out technologies that are used in Digital Workflow.
